How does that work in practice? Behind the scenes, a standardized approach ensures that all these integrations work reliably. The basis is the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), the industry standard for communication between charging stations and management systems. This ensures the availability of chargers, monitors energy consumption, performs diagnoses, and rolls out firmware updates. This is entirely brand-independent.
For other assets, such as battery systems (BESS) and solar installations (PV), we use Modbus integrations. Everything comes together in one environment: the Maxem Energy Cloud. Each new integration undergoes a structured testing process, from hardware setup to validation, ensuring performance and reliability.
